As the only product in its class, the new AW100 Picocell is an integrated radio and controller base station which offers full 3GPP2 performance in a compact 1RU form factor. This picocell access point is designed to provide relief for the macro network and optimize both CAPEX and OPEX by addressing some specific network growth challenges.

The AW100 picocell offers wireless operators an affordable base station to complement macro networks with coverage in network blind spots and capacity in hotspots. In addition, the AW100 picocell can be rapidly deployed in developing nations as a wireless local loop (WLL) service at nominal cost.

AW100 series is offered in EVDO Rev A. or 1xRTT versions.
