AirWalk Communications Announces CDMA 450MHz Product Portfolio

Expanding on Global CDMA Licensed Frequencies

RICHARDSON, Texas, March 14, 2005 – - AirWalk Communications, an IP Radio Access Network (IP-RAN) developer for CDMA wireless voice and data networks, has announced its CDMA 450MHz AW-Series IP-RAN line of products.

CDMA450 advantages are derived from the spectral efficiency and the expanded coverage afforded by a lower frequency band.By providing a larger cell size compared to cells in other bands CDMA450 offers a lower cost per subscriber solution to both emerging market operators and existing operators. This efficiency directly translates to fewer cell sites and significantly lowers initial investment to service vast coverage areas.
